I am Frederik, the face behind FVR Automation and a freelance PLC and SCADA engineer with more than 15 years of experience in industrial automation.
Companies rely on me for PLC programming, DCS systems, the design of HMI and SCADA screens, testing, and commissioning of installations. I am involved in new projects, optimizations of existing production lines, or as temporary reinforcement within automation and engineering teams.
After years of experience in various companies, I consciously chose to start working as a freelancer. That decision was no coincidence. I wanted to fully commit to projects I genuinely stand behind, with direct communication and clear agreements. No unnecessary layers or detours—just technically sound work and taking responsibility for what I deliver.
In addition to industrial automation, I also carry out electrical works and home automation in residential projects. I inherited that technical foundation from home. As a young boy, I used to join my father to pull cables, wire electrical cabinets, and build installations. That hands-on experience shaped me. Today, he is still active in residential electrical installations, and I regularly step in to help when needed.
Whatever I do, I do with passion and commitment. Whether it’s a new installation, solving a complex problem, or restructuring an existing line, I approach every project as if it were my own installation.
