Equans Hoboken – SKID Programming (2026)

Technology: Siemens S7-1500, TIA Portal V19, WinCC Unified V19.2 (MTP1200)
Development of the complete software for three new injection SKIDs with batch and ratio functionality. Programming was carried out entirely from scratch, including the design and implementation of custom faceplates in WinCC Unified. The project also included the creation of software structures, control logic, HMI integration, and extensive on-site testing.
Vacuüm Installation PLC072-10 – PLC Migration (2025 – 2026)

Technology: Siemens S7-1500, TIA Portal V19, PROFINET, WinCC Unified (MTP700 Unified Comfort)
Migration of an existing S7-300 PLC to a Siemens S7-1500 for the Vacuum Installation PLC072-10, while preserving the original functionality. The existing Step 7 program was migrated 1-to-1 to TIA Portal without any functional changes. Existing tag names, signals, data structures, and communication lists were kept unchanged. The PLC communicates with the MTP700 Unified Comfort HMI via PROFINET. The scope included analysis, migration, verification, and support during FAT and SAT.
ATS Global Netherlands – Data Center BAS & DCIM (2025–2026)

Technology: Schneider EcoStruxure Building Operation, Project Builder
Configuration and implementation of a Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) solution for a new data center. Setup and management of Project Builder projects, integration with EcoStruxure Building Operation, and linking of assets, alarm structures, and graphical visualizations. The focus was on monitoring, reporting, and alarm management to ensure the reliability and energy efficiency of the data center.
Communication PLC072-09 – PLC migration (2025 – 2026)

Technology: Siemens S7-1500, TIA Portal V19, ISO-Transport communication
Migration of an existing S7-300 PLC to an S7-1500, maintaining ISO-on-TCP connections and interface integration with DeltaV. Preparation of the transmission list and functional specification, followed by testing and commissioning.
Equans Lillo – SKID Programming (2025)
Technology: Siemens TIA Portal, WinCC Unified
Programming of an injection system with both batch and ratio modes. Full software developed from scratch, including custom-built faceplates for the WinCC Unified HMI.
Janssen Pharmaceutica – SKID Upgrade (2024–2025)

Modification of existing PLC code, removal of outdated logic, and implementation of a new HMI. Entire setup reprogrammed in TIA Portal V17.

Support for the automation team, troubleshooting of technical issues, and migration of existing installations.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to oversee and execute projects outside of Belgium. These ranged from classic commissioning jobs to complex expansions and system migrations abroad.
